We collect no personal data
Claude Prompt History does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information whatsoever. Everything the extension does happens entirely inside your browser, on your device.
How the extension works
The extension injects a content script into claude.ai pages only. It reads the text of your prompts from the page DOM and displays them in a local sidebar panel, so you can quickly scroll back and navigate your conversation history.
- All processing happens locally in your browser
- No data is sent to any external server
- No data is stored beyond your current browser session
- The extension only runs on claude.ai — no other websites
What we do not collect
- Personally identifiable information (name, email, address)
- Health or financial information
- Authentication credentials or passwords
- Location data
- Web browsing history
- User activity or keystrokes
- Cookies or local storage data
Third-party sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties — because we don't collect any data in the first place. The extension has no backend, no analytics service, and no advertising partners.
